Badilah, Travellers’ Band shine at Beitbridge Business Awards

Renowned Beitbridge artist Badilah (Gift Ndlovu) put up a flawless show the just ended Beitbridge Expo and Awards held at the magnificent Zebra Hilltop Lodge on Saturday night.
The energetic artist got the delegates on their fit while others nodded in approval throughout his performance.
Badilah who is also known as ‘Vha Fosti’ by his legion of fans made a grand undertaker entrance in memory of the late local DJ Fires.
The house was moved into song and dance when he belted the hit song Thoma Ngane, a prayer for seeking God’s blessings.
The Travellers band and Badilah graced Beitbridge Business Expo awards.
Adding colour to the event was the Gweru based the Travellers Band which churned hit after hit mostly copyrights from yesterday superstars like Oliver Mtukudzi.
Songs like Pata pata by the late music icon (Mtukudzi) moved the crowd into while cheers.
It was a show to remember with the well-dressed guests mostly businessmen and community leaders taking to the dance floor throughout the show.
Popular MCs Edutainer and MC Peshy who are also top producers at Lotsha FM spiced up the show with their top notch performances.
Organising committee chairperson, Dr Anna Muleya said the show was a great success and that everything had been done according to plan.
“This has been a wonderful event, we thank the Beitbridge community and all their partners for their support. We hope to host an even bigger show next year,” she said.
