Mvelaphanda ha Matibe donates stationery to Maṱizwi satellite school
Community members in Beitbridge east under the banner Mvelaphanda ha Matibe this week donated an assortment of stationery to Maṱizwi satellite school which is in the resettlement areas.
The school is a satellite of Madaulo primary.
A spokesperson for the group, Mr Prosper “Mukhethwa” Moyo said they put funds together after realising the needs of pupils in selected schools in the area.
He said they were mobilising more resources including uniforms and shoes among other items to make schools child friendly.
So far they have donated; A5 72 pages’ x 14 packs of 20, A4 72 pages x 4 packs of 20, A4 32 pages’ x 30 packs of 10, 100 pencils and 100 pens.
In the long run, he said, they will be helping the schools set up income generating projects which will then help them attend to the needs of the most vulnerable children in the identified learning facilities.
