National education curriculum review next week

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education is calling upon Zimbabweans to participate in the curriculum review outreach that will be held at all schools nationwide between 23 and 24 May.
In a circular today, directed to all provincial education heads, Secretary for Education, Mrs Thumisang Thabela said the program will run from 0830 hours to 1700 hours during those two days.
She said all schools will be used as consultation centers.
Mrs Thabela said it was important for Zimbabweans to fully participate in this program.
She said officials from the main head office will be deployed to monitor the program.
Mrs Thabela said Zimbabwean’s views were important for the transformation of competence-based education for social economic development.
