Staff Writer
The Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) church has started rolling out a number of projects in rural Beitbridge to empower women and the youth with entrepreneurship and life skills.
So far they have trained 21 women in Penemene on a number of entrepreneurship schools including baking and confectionery related skills.
This is being done as part of the Prayer and Breakfast initiative.
Team leader, 2nd elder Besta Mbedzi said they the courses were being done for free.
He said they are complementing efforts being done by authorities on the ground to empower women with basic survival skills.
The church, he said will have more similar initiatives as their contribution to the empowerment of rural communities.
