Beitbridge Municipality plans for Easter traffic

BEITBRIDGE Municipality has put in place plans to manage the influx of traffic around the town during the Easter holiday
Already the town is a hive of activity as hundreds of people have started travelling to South Africa and into Zimbabwe through the Beitbridge port of entry.
Travellers have increased along major roads, hiking spots and the port of entry.
Town Clerk , Mr Loud Ramakgapola told Lotsha FM that they were ready to roll.
“Standby teams are available, traffic marshals will be deployed around the traffic circle at the border and Engen Service Station.
“In addition, our law enforcement team is concentrating at the Dulivhadzimu bus terminus as from Thursday, and all deployments at the markets will remain normal.
“We are having standby duty members with at least two details from traffic who will operate at Engen Service Station and at the border entrance to monitor heavy vehicles throughout the night until the next morning at 0730 hours for the duration of the holiday”.
