Businessman donates office furniture to Lotsha FM

A local businessman and property developer, Mr Spiros Polentas has donated an assortment of furniture to Lotsha FM as part of his company’s community social responsibility initiative.
He said the gesture was his recognition of the role the radio station was playing in pushing the development agenda in Beitbridge.
The furniture includes 5 chairs, two desks, and a mini couch.
Mr Polentas who is one of the directors at Daltonian Marketing which owns Living Waters office complex in Beitbridge town said it was important for everyone to give back to the community.
He said he was impressed with the work done by Lotsha FM staff who are serving the community whole heartedly on a voluntary basis.
The businessman said the coming in of the local community radio station was a milestone development for the people of Beitbridge.
He said it provides a platform for the community to discuss issues of mutual interest and address challenges in the local context.
Mr Polentas added that the company will keep exploring more ways to ensure the radio station’s operations remain sustainable.
Meanwhile another local resident, Mr Joseph Tabela also donated office cleaning equipment to the station.
He said he was proud to identify with the radio station.
